Tomorrow is the National Day of Switzerland, our host country. Please pray for this country, where the Reformation heritage is alive but fragile. Thanks.

Here is some brief news and the schedule for the next while:

I was at English L’Abri for 3 weeks, 23 June to 14 July. This was my longest visit there ever and was a test to see if everyone could stand it. It seemed to go well and was a rather active time with lectures, tutorings, meal discussion leadings, seminars, 4 concerts, 3 Sunday sermons, a Swiss Fondue for 10 local Church people and a film discussion. I gave a lecture on Apologetics/Kategorics that should be on the website soon. A weekend outreach in Brighton for preaching, etc. was a break in the middle. I loved it all and hope to go back in late October.

While in England I broke another tooth. The bill for fixing it was about 9% of the cost of the last tooth I broke a few months ago. I am very thankful for our good dentist and the smaller bill. Both of us are in good health. I’ve lost 17 Kg in the last 6 months and hope to lose another 5.

Last week I was teaching at the YWAM base in Wiler (near Bern) for 5 days in a Worldview School. The students were excellent and we had some fruitful discussions.

Antonio Halichi from Romania, living in Bratislava visited us for a week and went back on Thursday. We enjoyed his visit very much and are glad that he is doing very well as a private English Teacher. Antonio & I met in the work of CityGate in Bratislava.

The friends in Canada working on the book report rapid progress in transcribing lectures and are encouraged to see how they are starting to fit together. Thanks for praying.

The Church in Lausanne continues to be a joy. It is summer holiday season but we are having more people on Sundays than we expected. The people seem to love each other more and more. The preachers’ class in Basel and Lausanne are both continuing. They are very different classes with different activities and results and both are very good and encouraging.

November 7-17 Romania; Cluj Napoka (Medias) and Iasi for YWAM

November 20-21 – Lausanne

November 27 – Lecture for YWAM in Aarau

November 28-29 - Lausanne
